Another Bad Day!!!!

     The end of new year turning out to be horrible is sometimes least expected…. But sometimes u can’t avoid thngs happening arnd u and specifically with u 

     This incident is of 31st December 2005…. The worst day of 2005 I guess… Day was as usual and normal… got up in the morning at the usual weekend time of 9:45 am :D:D Then after having a cup of coffee did some tp with pg-mates watching tv and majority of the time chit-chatting… Then pavi and myself decided to have lunch outside coz none of us were in any mood to cook and all the more we wanted to get some food and beverage items also.

     So finally once ready we were out for lunch at arnd 2:30 pm…Now thts wht is called a very late lunch :D:D While on our way Mipple called up for lunch and since I was supposed to have it with pavi I asked him to join us. He was supposed to join us after 1 hrs time so we decided to complete with our shopping stuff. Now just whn I had finished with shopping another tlteian called up (not mentioning his/her name in here will be addressed henceforth as person X).. Now since the person was free and getting bored we (mipple and myself) decided to meet him at forum at 5:30 pm. Once at the restaurant, pavi and myself ordered for a soup and started our waiting for our third partner mipple. After about 15-20 mins mipple joined us. Now we started with lunch, consumed approx 2 hrs of our time .. thnx 2 the Indian restaurant’s ordering and serving time delay :D:D..

     Nyways finally having stuffed ourselves it was decided tht mipple will reach my PG and pavi and myself will reach our PG in a rick. Finally after loads of search we managed to get one rick who was ready to drop us at our destination at proper charge… Mind it pavi and myself had got some foods and beverages from MK Retails and was already overburdened…. Now we would have just covered 2 kms whn we encountered a red traffic signal and as it would have been, our rickshaw driver to our utter dismay, broke the signal and went straight through. Now the nxt thng was the worst to happen the traffic policeman was quick enough to stop our rickshaw and wht nxt we the poor passengers were left in a place arnd 3 kms frm our actual destination.. and in b’lore it being difficult to get a rick 4 such a short distance, the only option left with us was to go by bus No. 11 (i.e. walk down the same)  But being overburdened we found it difficult to walk, but somehow managed to walk down.. Meanwhile mipple was already at my PG and very much waiting.

     When we didn’t turn up at the decided time mipple called us up and we narrated this insane incident.. and thn he came down on his bike and met us at a spot abt 1 kms frm my PG and to our gr8 satisfaction reduced our burden by some few kgs ..and by the time I reached my PG it was already 5:00 and 5:30 we had to meet the so called person X. In btwn we had decided tht since we were planning a trip to makedaata we had to book a cab for the trip. So immediately after dumping my goods at my room mipple and myself made a move to his place. Once at his place we were busy going through all the yellow pages calling up all travels agents… but everywhere the answer turned out 2 b a big “No” as expected. Finally, we decided the good old “Akkad Bakkad” funda and dialed an arbitary no. and to our utter surprise got lucky enuf to get a cab booked… Now this happiness was short lived coz whn I had a look at my watch it was already 6:15 pm and the person X had already been waiting since 5:30pm.. Now we tried but couldn’t contact him for some reason and finally decided to drive faster.. But thn again the biggest hindrance “b’lore’s horrible traffic”, we could only make it to forum by 6:50 pm. Finally, whn I met person X.. it was as if the person was totally frustrated having been made wait for so long.. To be true never ever in my life have I made someone wait for more than 20 mins in the extreme case I guess.. But this was something I felt very bad and I couldn’t control myself from being guilty and to be frank couldn’t tell this person X nythng abt wht went wrong within the same day  Nyways the person X left within 10 mins time .. and I fully expect it to be the frustration and anger on me the person X had

P.S : This person X called me up on New Year also.. I feel so embarrassed and guilty tht inspite of doing so much the person was grateful enuf to forget to some extent. But I knw the person X won’t forget it totally 

     This day I can never ever forget coz this has given me an addition to my resolution list – Not to take everyone for granted. I took it for granted tht even if I make someone wait I’ll be forgiven everytime. Frankly speaking if I would have been in person X’s place I would have exploded in tht very place no matter kaun saamne hai ((( Person X : Thnx for the gr8 new year resolution and sorry once again!!
